Dick attended Florida State University, and in his 2nd semester of his junior year, transferred and later graduated from Georgia State University with a BBA Degree in 1971. Dick was on the Deans List with Honors and Deans List with Distinction his senior year.
Dick has lived in Atlanta, Georgia for the last 37 years. He holds a Broker's license with the state of Georgia. His firm R. L. Smith & Company has been in existence since 1978 and is a charter member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS. He is also a member of the Georgia Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. He has served on the Membership and Networking Committees. He is a past member of The Board of Directors of The Georgia State University Real Estate Alumni Group. He is also a life member of Alpha Kappa Psi, a national business fraternity. Dick
has been active in public service through the years, and was awarded a
citation by Governor George Busbee of Georgia as an “outstanding
volunteer for Georgia”. Dick can be found in “Who’s
Who in Real Estate 1983”, Warren, Gorham, & Lamont, Inc., New
York.
